WHAT YOU DON'T NEED TO SAY
We already know this
There are comments that are always made when complaining about cars. Save
yourself time because we already know these.. and it doesn't accomplish anything to say these things.
- We know you paid a lot for your car. Cars are expensive.. so telling us this only wastes time. We are
sympathetic to your problem.
- We know it's a hassle to bring your car in for repair. We try to make it as easy as possible.. remember dealers don't build them.. they just fix 'em.
- We know that you bought a new car and shouldn't expect to have problems. We wish you didn't have problems either.
- We know that if you aren't satisfy you will shop elsewhere.. we don't need to be told this.
- We know this is taking your time.. don't ask to be paid for your time to "deal" with this problem.
GENERAL WASTES OF TIME
There are things people resort to when facing problems.. my experience is the following are a waste of time because it is unlikely these actions will get your problems resolved any faster.
- Writing a lengthy letter to the dealer, manufacturer or anyone else. Keep it short and simple to get attention.
- Contacting the "TV CALL FOR HELP" programs. Unless it's outright fraud, they won't solve anything.
