Governor Taft Dedicates New 4-C Bicentennial Trail

We celebrated the latest City of Wilmington recreational trail on July 31 with a large group of citizens and our governor and his wife.  The festivities took place at the new trailhead on Fife Avenue across from the David Williams Memorial Park. This was an opportunity to both celebrate this newest trail as well as let our government officials know trails are important to this community and very worthy of their support! Governor Taft and his wife Hope let an ambitious group of bikers down the new trail, through the future urban trail and through the Luther Warren Peace Path.  Everyone enjoyed ice cream donated by Gibson's Goodies on the return trip.
