About

Hi. I'm DigiFaith, but you can call me Faith if you prefer. I'm a huge Digimon-turned-Yu-Gi-Oh-and-Hagaren fan who has a strange obssession with singing in a language I can't understand.

This site was made on a whim, out of frustration from not being able to find a complete listing of accurate Yu-Gi-Oh or Hagaren lyrics anywhere on the web. The material in this site is a compilation. This means that I did not sit down, listen to every single song listed here, and write down the lyrics.

What I did is this: I searched the Internet and my own computer for lyrics to all these songs. I listened to each song, following along with the lyrics, and correcting them wherever I found errors. For the Japanese songs, I put together lyric sequences for both the full song and the song used in the anime, and I found whatever English translations I could. I then applied consistent formatting to each song to make it as readable as possible, using a legend to denote spoken parts/background lines/etc. Yeah, I had to start from scratch on a few songs, but these lyrics for the most part are not completely my own work. I've tried to give all credit where credit is due. If you have a problem with any of this, please contact me.

Wondering about the site name? I'll tell you, if you promise not to pick on my Japanese.

It's actually pretty simple. "Kyouku" is a Japanese word that means "music" (coincidentally, it can also mean "parish," depending on how you translate it), and "dueru" is how the Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh characters pronounce the word "duel." So, "music duel." Yeah, the grammar isn't perfect, but I had to make it look good on a banner.

If you want to use these lyrics on your site, all I ask is that you give me a link. Not too much to ask, is it?

Enjoy!
