Brass Ring Boxes

So, with the Grizzly Mini Mill still new in February, I used it made these brass ring boxes for our two daughters for Valentine's Day.  The mill handled the machining of the brass with ease.  I made a few mistakes, and I hid them well.

Starting with 3/4 x 3 brass bar stock, purchased for $1.25/lb at a local scrap yard, I had to screw two pieces together to get the needed box depth.  Added a $2.00 brass hinge from Home Depot and lined the boxes and bottoms with leftover pool table felt, so the only expensive part was the machine itself.
