NNB NEWS:

Dan Spencer has announced his retirement from the Nickel Night Band.  This, of course, will have a major effect on sound of the Nickel Night Band.  Dan has been an important part of the core of the Nickel Night Band since 1995.  His unique blend of guitar, harmonica and vocal talents will be sorely missed.

We had originally planned to play two dates before Dan left.  Saturday the 21st of June was the first of them. The second date was to have been in late July.

I have cancelled the second date because of a disagreement with the owner of Foley's. We will not discuss specifics here. Let us just say that The Nickel Night Band no will no longer perform at or recommend Foley's (in Reading) as a place to spend your entertainment dollars.

If we can book another show in July somewhere else that would include Dan, we will let those of you on the mailing list know by email.  If you are not on the mailing list and wish to be added to it, just send me an email at tfoertmeyer@cinci.rr.com.
