This personal website was created to keep friends and family informed of Stephen's status as well as a means to provide education about the blood stem cell donation process and what you can do to help.

Stephen Spriggs has been fighting Hodgkin's Disease for 3 years now and needs a blood stem cell transplant for any hopes of long-term survival.  He has yet to find a donor, so we are asking for your help...

If you are between the ages of 18 and 60 and are in general good health, consider joining the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) Registry, a list of potential marrow and stem cell donors and/or making a tax-deductible donation to assist in the cost of testing potential donors.

To learn more about Stephen, becoming a donor, the transplant process and how you can help, check out some of the information on this site as well as the links to other sites.

"Even if I do not find a match, it would make me and my family feel very good if someone was able to save another person’s life because of the situation that I am in. If you are chosen to be a donor for a stranger, you are giving someone else’s son, daughter, sister, brother, friend, etc, another chance at life. There is no greater gift imaginable." –Stephen Spriggs 9/24/03
