T.U.L. protects a person's rights to help others with all types of alternative natural health care. There are a number of legislation's in place that may unfortunately limit our scope of freedom and practice. If you are a student of, or practicing any of the natural healing, alternative health care practices, which includes hypnosis and giving naturopathic type of information , by becoming a legally, ordained minister, your legal rights to preach and educate about the benefits of natural medicine will be protected! As a minister, you separate yourself from the State laws and may preach the value of the Creator's natural healing energies and power (which include anything from herbalist's and healing hands to Hypnotherapist, readers, and psychics) from the rooftops!

Nasty legislation - Arkansas HB1206 "An act to limit the use of the title 'doctor' in association with various practices of the healing arts." This bill was viewable and still may be at http://www.arkleg.state.ar.us - put in bill no. HB1206 to check status and read it.

Texas has two bills - Senate Bill 146 and House Bill 752 that will make the practice of naturopathy illegal and a felony if you are not licensed by the State. In Texas go to http://www.anma.com and click on the Texas State Naturopathic Medical Association.

Florida has many new laws, one that may have already been passed: a change in the phrase "You cannot practice medicine without a license" to "You cannot practice health care without a license" and other states may follow.

Now is the time to make this move. You cannot become a minister to circumvent the law, but you can become a minister in order to practice what you believe. You may obtain a legal ordination, use the title Reverend, and may also apply for a Doctor of Divinity, which will entitle you to use the term Doctor as pertaining to the clergy.
